He is survived by: his wife Mary Welch Otey; his sons, Houston Otey Jr. (Tonya) and Tony Otey (Vonzella); his grandchildren, Alysa, Briona, Trinity and Tiffany; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Ava, Lala and Maleia; his siblings, Jean, Sam, Barbara and Ronnie; his siblings-in-law, Gary Welch and Charlene Toliver; and his brother James Hickenbothem. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
