It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hershel Vaughn Jr. of Daleville, Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Hershel Herbert Vaughn III; and his parents, Herbert Vaughn and Lucille Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dyer Vaughn; his children, Tim Vaughn (Bonnie), Vicki Vaughn Myers (Mike), Dana Vaughn Lanning (Johnny) and Jennifer Vaughn Wilkes (Scott); his grandchildren, Lindsey Myers Pendleton (Robin), Kayleigh Lanning Conrad (Tim), Shannon Myers Herald (Travis), Taylor Vaughn, Trevor Vaughn, Mitchell Lanning (Taylor), Madeline Vaughn, Jonas Wilkes and Ashby Wilkes; his brother Dennis Vaughn; and his nieces and nephews, Anne, Charlie Vaughn and Ron Dyer. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
