He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sink Simmons; his children, Deborah Wiley (Mike), Steve Simmons (Beth) of Daleville, VA, Curtis Simmons, Jr. (Sandy) of Roanoke, VA, Sharon Ostler (Mike) of Marietta, SC and Julie Gibson (Jon) of Savannah, GA.; his great grandchildren, Kimberly Wyrick, Bobby Simmons (Ranelle), Jonathan Simmons of Troutville, VA, Olivia Boothe (CJ) of Daleville, VA, Nathaniel Simmons (Kanon), Naomi Glenn (Andrew), Abigail, Ella, Will and Joshua Gibson of Savannah, GA.; his siblings, Richard Simmons (Anita) and Rose Cox of Buchanan, VA; his sister-in-law Judy Hancock of Roanoke, VA; and also, Austin of Daleville, VA, James, Bella, Berkeley of Fincastle, VA, Dorothy, June of Macclenny, FL, Madeline, Oliver, Lucy, Eloise, Penelope and Silas of Germantown, MD.
