Placzkouski of Dale City, Virginia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F. Placzkowski and Bronislava Sikorski Placzkowski; his former wife Emma Braun Placzkouski; and his siblings, Alfreda Wolski, Irene Menclewicz, Marie Albrecht, Lorraine Placzkowski, Gladys Placzkowski, Isabelle Placzkowski, Domicella Placzkowski and Edmund W. Placzkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Nettie Proffitt Chewning of Charlottesville; his daughters, Karin Merrill (Cdr) and Arlene R. Anderson of Winchester; his grandson John Campbell; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Amelia and Melanie Campbell of Stafford; his grandchildren, Joshua Campbell of Webster and Emily Frock (Scott) of New Orleans; his stepdaughter Lee Reinhardt (Peter Reinhardt); his stepgranddaughter Catherine Shake (Bill); his children, Dillon, Morgan of Fairfax, Colonel Bradley Greaver, Anabelle, Max, Violet of Tampa, Fla., Lauren Fernandez (John), Sophia and Brooke; and his stepdaughter Sally Chewning of Buckingham. He is also survived by "Opa" loved and enjoyed all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
