It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Madeleine Belanger Butler of Dale City, Virginia, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her parents, Antoine Belanger and Gracia Belanger; her sister Dorothea Smith; and her close friend Charles Wall.
She is survived by: her sister Jacqueline Lothrop; her brother-in-law George Smith; her children, John (Debra), Mark (Julia) and Monique (Kirk); her grandchildren, David (Alisha), Matthew, Corey (Katie), Megan, Kyle (Jessica) and Austin; and her great grandchildren, Dean, Archer and Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
