He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Thibodeau and Mary Thibodeau of Mishawaka; and his brother Robert Thibodeau of Mishawaka, Indiana.. He is survived by: his wife Flora Gemillan Thibodeau; his sons, John Thibodeau (Diane) of Roscoe, IL, Ed Thibodeau (Cathy) of Stafford, VA, Larry Thibodeau (Tracey) of Stafford, VA and Alan Thibodeau of Dale City, VA; his grandchildren, Nik Price, Jacob Thibodeau, Katelyn Thibodeau, Gabrielle Thibodeau, Alyssa Thibodeau, Colin Thibodeau and Gavin Thibodeau; and his siblings, Sandra Barrett (Gene), David Thibodeau (Leslie), Jean Williams (Denny), Michael Thibodeau and Maria Rondinelli Thibodeau (late Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children, and friends.

“My deepest sympathy to Flora and all of the kids. Ron was a great friend and a fantastic colleague. He took me under his wing and taught me so so much. He was a great teacher. I loved hearing all his stories about his time in the Navy. It was truly an honor to have known him. With all that he accomplished in life and all the stuff he has done for others, I can only hope that God has a bigger plan for him. If anyone deserves those wings, he does. He will truly be missed.
