It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph O'Brien Jr. of Dahlgren, Virginia, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Joseph and Blanche Arlene O'Brien; his wife Ginny; his daughters, Kristine Redlien (Corey) of Stamford, CT, Amy Holdcroft (Michael) of Woodbridge, VA and Katie O'Brien of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Quinton, Lane Redlien, Jack, Justin, Ella, Disu, Naka and Lily Holdcroft; his siblings, Mary Lou Tremblay of Beverly, MA, Richard O'Brien (Sue) of Amesbury, MA, Ann Hebert (Emile) of Amesbury, MA, Peggy Twombly (Gerry) of North Hampton, NH, Julie O'Brien (Wally) of Merrimack, NH and Tom O'Brien (Mary Ellen) of Haverhill, MA; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Gilmore of Gardiner, ME, Clem Tremblay and Betty Jo Gilmore. He was also cherished by 16 nieces and nephews; and many dear friends and neighbors.
