He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Cleveland (Sonny) and Elsie Brown Walton; his children, LaTisha Pegram (Wayne), William Cleveland, Jr. (Jennifer) and Stephanie Cleveland-Jones (Thomas); his grandchildren, Taiya, Mikaila, Michael, Laila, William III, Khyren (Debra), Ahnayah and Thomas III; his great grandchildren, Tyanah and Samiyah; his siblings, Joan Johnson (Willie "Skip"), Jean Ely, Brenda Epps (Harold), Linda Cleveland-Harris (Andrew), Don Batchelor (Kim) and Alvin Gray; his aunts and uncles, Lillie Robinson, Florence Christian, Doreen Gillis, Frances Gillis, Jeanette Patrick, Earl Brown, Edward Claude Brown (Shirley), Bobby Brown, James Brown and Linwood Gillis; and his close friends, Leon Jones, Jarvis Wingo and Thomas "Ned" Jones, Sr.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
