He was predeceased by: his parents, William Trent and Julia Trent; his siblings, Garnett Hodges, Alice and James Trent; his son-in-law Bob Oglesby; and his grandson Michael Bezares.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Macy Trent; his children, Candy Bezares (David), Pam Oglesby-Hylton (Danny), William Trent Jr. (Liz) and Douglas Trent (Tammy); his brother Latane "Bo" Trent; his grandchildren, Elisabeth Poore, Bobby, Jacob, Summer Oglesby, Patrick, Crispin "Kip" Trent, Dylan and Dalton Trent; and his great grandchild Grayson Oglesby. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
