He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Jasper and Senia Jasper; his brothers, McKinley "Jake", Walter "Mickey", Roosevelt and Lawrence Jasper; and his godson Rodney Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Gail S. Brown; his children, Ron S. Jasper (Maris), Joshua L. Cox and Asheley G. Cox (Ashley); his granddaughters, Rhonda R. Scott and Tamara V. Nash; his children, Dobbie Walton, Rhonda (James) and Tamara (Shane); his grandchildren, Armani (Trey), N'dea and A'mari; his great grandchildren, Jace and Prince; his siblings, Nannie Sheff of Marbury, Emma Rodwell of Reading, Pennsylvania and George "Joe" Jasper (Robin) of Roselle; his mother-in-law Fannie Brown of Powhatan, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Key (Oscar) of Powhatan, Diane Cox of Powhatan, Mary Jasper, June Jasper of Amelia, Virginia, Andrew Brown Sr. (Denise) of Lebanon and Lonnie Brown, Sr. of Powhatan, Virginia; his godchildren, Ebony Fleming, Natalie Southers, Shaun and Adrian Fleming (Drew); his cousin Freddie "Greg" Taylor; his friend Donnie Hargraves; and his grandchildren, Charles, Sheila and A'Sharia White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
