He is survived by: his children, Robert Floyd "Bobby" Wise Jr. of Cumberland, Robin Johnson (Charlie) of Portsmouth, Sally Wise (Bill Shelhorse) of Virginia Beach and Kimberly W. Thompson (Gary) of Cartersville; and his sister Bertha Daugherty of Newark, Ohio.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
