She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; and her parents, James Edward Bartlett and Martha Ellen Harris Bartlett. She is survived by: her friend Juanita; her cousin Joe; her daughters, Lateisha (Matthew) and Stephanie (Kimberly); her sister Mary Ellen Lee; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Garrett-Holland (Glenn) and Vernon Garrett Sr. (Margie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home (64 Cartersville Rd, Cumberland, VA 23040). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hollywood Baptist Church (3764 Old Buckingham Rd, Powhatan, VA 23139).
