He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Baker (Joe), Dale, Faye Smith (Paul) and Diane Shackelford (James); his siblings, Ellis (Katherine), John Branch and Freda Langhorne (Thomas); his grandchildren, Craig Brooks (Tarisha), Dion Robinson, Brittany Branch, Candice Baker, Evan Smith (Shannell), Avis Boykins (Aaron) and Jordan Shackelford; his siblings-in-law, Louise Baker, Barbara Davenport, Julene "Renee" Branch, Irene Branch, Linda Branch and Oscar Davenport (Gayle); his caregiver Juanita Pryor; and his friends, Howard Sims, Nathaniel Cox and William Brown. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
