She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jackson and Isabelle Stovall Jackson; her husband Frank Virgil Perkins, Sr.; and her siblings, Catherine Goode, Everette and Vincent Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Booker and Frank Virgil Perkins, Jr.; her grandchildren, Harrison Virgil Perkins and Alexis Zhan'e Booker; her great grandchildren, Dallas Leigh Kelly and Durrell Jeremiah Hill, Jr.; her siblings, Eddie Jackson, Leon Jackson, Mary Jackson, Eloise Lopez, Lula Clarke and Deborah Crews; her sisters-in-law, Gail Jackson and Mary Scruggs; her aunt Charlotte Nelson; her friends, Lottie Trent, Frances, Cheryl McCormick, Brenda Martin, Polly Palmore and Princess Mayo; and also, Ruby Trent, Jackie Crump, Janice Walton and LaShaunda Taylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
