He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Grimsley and Luvine Watts Grimsley. He is survived by: his wife Iris Hamlett Grimsley; his son Kevin Grimsley (Stacey); his grandchildren, Abigail and Adam; his nephews, Ronnie and Tim Wyatt; and also, Tim, Gina Martin, Wesley Pipjunge and Caleb Kormanec. He is also survived by three sisters and several other family members.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Leukemia Lymphoma Society, VCU Massey Cancer Center or Cartersville Baptist Church.
