He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pipjunge and Lizzie Pipjunge; his wife Mary O'Bryant Pipjunge; and his son Kenneth Wayne Pipjunge. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Melissa and Wesley Pipjunge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Rescue Squad or Centra Hospice – Farmville.
