He is survived by: his children, Ernest Allen, Jr. (Anna) of Cumberland County, VA, Beulah Scruggs of Hampton, VA, Vernon Allen (Cynthia) of Paterson, NJ and Regina Belton (Frank) of Hampton, VA; his niece Grace "Henrietta" Beard; and his close friend Louise Robertson. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
