She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Alexandria and Melvin Wade; her brothers, Donald Wade and Alvin Taylor; her granddaughter Ashley Mayo; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Shyla and Sage Gilliam.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Gilliam; her children, Shelia Johnson (Ike Sr.), Loretta Waddy (Deacon Chris Sr.), Terrie Tobias, Minister Linda Gilliam-Johnson and Robert Gilliam Jr.; her sisters, Mattie Jackson (Lawrence) and Florrine Foster; and her siblings-in-law, Grace Wade, Queen Taylor and Wiley Gilliam (Clara). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
