He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Mayo; his children, Arlene Wheeler, LaKeisha Mayo, Dottie Oliver and Dwayne Oliver; his siblings, John Mayo (Dorothy), Curtis Mayo (Althea), Rev Larry Mayo (Vicey) and Rose McClinton Patricia Hilliard; his uncle Samuel Goode (Debbie); and his friend Carl Johnson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren.
