It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Terry Darnell Mayo (Cumberland, Virginia), leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Mayo and Mary Ruth Streat Mayo; his granddaughter Tonya Wheeler; and his brother-in-law Tommie McClinton. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Mayo; his children, Arlene Wheeler, LaKeisha Mayo, Dottie Oliver and Dwayne Oliver; his siblings, John Mayo (Dorothy), Curtis Mayo (Althea), Rev Larry Mayo (Vicey) and Rose McClinton Patricia Hilliard; his uncle Samuel Goode (Debbie); and his friend Carl Johnson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren.
