He is survived by: his wife Bettina Durrett Brooks; his children, Isaiah Brooks and Olivia Brooks; his siblings, Darlene Brown, Elnathan Brooks, Sr. (Jamie), Clarence Ogburn, Jr., Andrew Brooks (Monica) and Paul Brooks (Debra); his aunt Otelia Crump; his niece Tyesha Brooks; his cousins, Antonio Brooks and Karl Jackson; and his friend Jennifer Terry. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, friends.
