She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown, Sr. of Washington and Kate Bell Hatcher; her spouse Karoy Royal Crump; her siblings, George Brown, Jr., Alex Hampton, Jr., John Lewis Brown, Darnell Brown, Mary Alice Gaskins and Hannah Gilliam; and her daughter-in-law Telisha Crump.
She is survived by: her children, James Eric Brown (Sharon), Maurice Brown (Rose), Elroy Crump and Diane Ward (Michael); her siblings, Raymond Brown (Caroline), Carrie Giles, Margaret Brown and Frances Rose; her grandchildren, Kimberley Brown, Shaquilla Jackson, Antnisha Jackson, Enrique Farrar, Kquamane Brown and Anthony Jackson, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jarmari Jackson and Aaliah Rich; her aunt Amy Liggon; her sister-in-law Ruth Hampton; and her friend Emma Trent. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives.
