It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Walter Johnson (Cumberland, Virginia), who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Johnson and Clara Johnson; his aunt Sarah Moseley; and his friends, Edward Brooks, Wesley Royall, Donnell Lyttle, Cliff White and George Langhorne.

He is survived by: his cousin Alvin W. Johnson; his wife Sharon Johnson; his children, Trevon Henderson, Sr. and Saketra Henderson; his grandchildren, Tre, Henderson and Trevon Henderson, Jr.; his siblings, Charles Johnson (Cassandra), Lonnie Johnson (Jessie), Earl Johnson and Robin Turner (Lionel); his cousins, Barbara James (Ricky), Craig Moseley (Shirley), Pamela Witcher (Ronnie) and Lawanda Kershaw; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Wilkerson (Jackie), Leonard Foster, Josephine Wilkerson, Teresa Booker (Wayne) and Senata Holman (Eddie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
