He is survived by: his wife Evelene Brooks Witcher; his children, Christine Thomas, Alvin Witcher Jr. (Kim) and Joann Witcher; his grandchildren, Delonte "Shawn" Patterson, Marcus Witcher, Sharod Patterson, Davard Anderson, Brandon Saunders, AJah Bolden (Jerrick) and Kajah Smith; his great grandchild Daneisha; his pet Bella; his sisters, "Marie" Muse of Florida, Christine "Nettie" Jones and Annie Williams; his sister-in-law Theresa Casper; his extended family, Tom Brooks (Virgie), Robert Carter (Susan), Aleck Brooks, David Carter, Earl Brooks (Beverly), Annie Minter (Clyde), Ada Booker and Nancy Lewis (Sherman); his nephews, Lawrence Casper, Tyrone and Antonio Brooks; and his friends, James Dabney, Earl Ross and Ralph Edwards (Redd).
