It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ernest Deane of Culpeper, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Deane (Thompson); and his children, Mary Deane (Mary Cate), Billy Deane (Shirley) and Christy Brown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Hospice of the Piedmont or the Cancer Society of America.
