Virginia Pence Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 91, Virginia Pence Ellis (Culpeper, Virginia), born in Winchester, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Henry and Virginia Hancock Farrier; her husband Roy Howard Ellis; her sister Harriet Farrier Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Harry Johnson and Evelyn Farrier.
She is survived by: her son Austin; her daughter-in-law SanDee; her daughter Anne Sweet; her son-in-law Brad Sweet; her grandchildren, Sarah Ellis Webb (Martin Webb), Christie Sweet and John Sweet; and her brother Paul Henry Farrier Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and one great-granddaughter.
She volunteered in a variety of efforts including making scenery for school plays, sewing costumes for charitable events, sewing children's dolls for charity fundraisers, and heading up the PTA and the Women's Chamber of Commerce.
