Campbell Gray of Culpeper, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Campbell and Lillia Campbell (Ann); her aunts and uncles, Lillie Mae Richards, Ella Drumgoole, Ruth Meney, Ernest, Harrison, William, John, Thomas, Keith and Daniel Brent; and her cousin Valerie Drumgoole.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Gray; her children, Megan Gray of Culpeper, VA and Jonathan Carey of Harrisonburg, VA; her granddaughter Arianna Brown; her aunt Vivian Glass of Philadelphia, PA; her siblings, Clarence (Pam) of Wakefield, RI, Lawrence of Orlando, FL, Kevin Campbell (Yoshi) of Huntsville, AL, Debra Campbell of Washington, DC and Karen Bumbrey of Fredericksburg, VA.; her siblings-in-law, Otis (Janet), Tim, Tony Gray of Culpeper, VA, Mike (Linda) of Rapidan, VA and Deb McGehee (Wayne) of Charlottesville, VA; and her friend Sandra Banks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She spent one year at Farmington Elementary School in the reading lab and 40 years at Pearl Sample Elementary School where she worked in numerous capacities until she retired in 2020 due to the pandemic.
