He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Meredith and Mabel Meredith; his wife Nancy Jenkins Meredith; and his brothers, Leonard Echol Meredith and Gene Autry Meredith.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Pullen (Jimmie), Tammy Hicks (Scott) and Michael Meredith (Lorie); his brothers, Hughie Meredith (Ruby), Billy Meredith (Betty), Larry Meredith (Judy) and Robert Meredith (Linda); and his grandchildren, Kayla Blase (Chase), Kiley Hicks, Nolan Hicks, Ethan Pullen, Savana Meredith, Gavin Meredith and Grayson Meredith. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
