She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Emmanuel Jenkins; her grandmother Cacilie Ray; her brother Devin Wayne Kirby; and her mother Kimberly Ward. She is survived by: her father Roy Carlton Kirby (Bonnie); her children, Aisha Renee Surratte, Autumn Eliska Jenkins and Aiden Emmanuel Jenkins; her brothers, Steven Spero, Matthew Spero, Michael Spero and Daniel Kirby; and her aunts, Barbara Harvey (Bryan), Linda Paradis, Christien Ray and Lisa Mueller (Andrew Mueller).
In lieu of flowers Shannon would've wanted any donations to go to the Alzheimers Foundation and the Sickle Cell Foundation.
