He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Thomas (Ebony), Ricardo Thomas and Juanesta Fields; his stepchildren, Kawanza Lewis, Karla Lewis, Jay and Jerry Mintze; his siblings, Evelyn Bilal (Samuel), Francine Burrell, Dale Dockery (Charles) and Douglas; his grandchildren, Demetrick, Kaila (Jack), Kiara, Alexis, Brent, Draylon, Bryson (great-grandson), Alaina, Micah and Elijah; and his former wives, Barbara Jean Wilborn and Judith Thomas. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

“Ron’s stepdaughter Karla Lewis here, and I echo the sentiments of my niece Alaina Lewis. My son is (his grandson) Elijah Williams is missing and so is his other grandson that’s lived with him his entire life Micah Lewis. All names were provided this is disappointing. My mother is his former life partner Myrtle Thomas, we are so busy listing previous wives his family he lived with and who took care of him weren’t prioritized.”
