He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jewell Southard; his son Dillon Lee Southard (Seana) of Earlysville; his siblings, Levi Southard (Winona) of Rixeyville, Charlie Southard (Jackie) of Arlington, Jimmy Southard (Cindy) of Rixeyville, Mary Bailey (Earl) of Lynchburg, Shirley Holt (Danny) of Lynchburg, Betty Wright (Eddie) of Rixeyville and Hazel Cubbage (Terry) of Culpeper; and his granddaughter Rowan Kennedy Southard.
