Though Roger Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Levi Southard and Beulah Elizabeth Southard; and his brother Matthew D. Adams. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jewell Southard; his son Dillon Lee Southard (Seana) of Earlysville; his siblings, Levi Southard (Winona) of Rixeyville, Charlie Southard (Jackie) of Arlington, Jimmy Southard (Cindy) of Rixeyville, Mary Bailey (Earl) of Lynchburg, Shirley Holt (Danny) of Lynchburg, Betty Wright (Eddie) of Rixeyville and Hazel Cubbage (Terry) of Culpeper; and his granddaughter Rowan Kennedy Southard.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel (59 Edgewood School Ln, Madison, VA 22727).
