He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dan Lane and Virginia "Jenny" Lewis Lane Bundy; and his siblings-in-law, Vickie Ryder and Charles Ryder. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ryder Lane; his sons, Daniel Barfield (Lauren) and Brandon Barfield (Katherine); his siblings, Gerald T. "Jerry" Lane (Carol), Ella F. Kay (Robert), Jannette "Pat" Rogers (Walter "Sonny"), Dorothy A. "Finney" Scott (Earl, Sr.), Rosa Lee Stanley (Nathaniel Jasper) and Carolyn L. Grayson; his grandchildren, Andre, Jackson, Olivia, Abijah Barfield, Samuel, Deacon, Vera, Shepherd, Etta and Cormac Barfield; his godchildren, Danielle Stinnette (John), Chris Bush and David Bush; his siblings-in-law, Roger Ryder (Jerrie), Larry Ryder and Charlotte Lane; and also Chris "Tiny". He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
