She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Strother and Sarah Strother; her husband Taylor R. Griffin, II; her sisters, Grace White, Mary Settle, Lottie Moss and Maggie Robertson; and her niece Kaye Mahon.

She is survived by: her son Taylor R. Griffin III (Taye). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
