He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Sr. Banks and Katheryn Fountaine Banks; and his brother Walter Banks Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Banks; his daughters, Stephanie Cropp (Calvin) and Teanna Banks of Culpeper, VA; his grandchildren, Tyson Cropp and Autymn Cropp of Culpeper, VA.; his siblings, Thelma Gray (late John), Jessie (Meredith), Sidney (Helen), Catherine Alexander (John), John Wayne (late Gloria), Tom (Patricia) and Peter (Juanita); and his sister-in-law Barbara Banks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
