Myrle Keener Burnside Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrle Keener Burnside in Culpeper, Virginia, born in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Laura Keener (Miller); her husband Robert F. Burnside; and her siblings, Ethel Kreiser, Jay (Arlene), James Jr., Louis and Elton Keener (Rita).
She is survived by: her father James F. Keener Sr.; her children, Virginia Fitzgearld (Steve) of Westfield, IN, John Spannuth (Suzie) of Warrenton, VA and Christy Burnside of Centreville, VA.; her grandchildren, Melbourne Weber Jr. of Indianapolis, Donald Weber of Indianapolis, Sean Spannuth (Shana) of Falls Church, VA, Nikolaus Spannuth of Warrenton, VA, Chase Fitzgearld of Indianapolis, IN and Molly Fitzgearld of Noblesville, IN.; and her sister-in-law Dawn Keener. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
