He was predeceased by: his son Charles Leo Cosgrove, Jr. (Dorothy Mae Barnhart Cosgrove); his father Charles Cosgrove; and his brothers, Gregory Cosgrove, Daniel Cosgrove and Kevin Cosgrove.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Maxfield; his children, Jennifer LeAnne Kakar and Mark Alan Cosgrove; his mother Dorothy Cosgrove; his brothers, Casey Cosgrove, Donald Cosgrove (Sheryl) and Dennis Cosgrove; his caregiver Barbara Cosgrove; and his grandchildren, Alexis Kakar, Emily Kakar, Dylan Cosgrove, Jackson Cosgrove, Noah Cosgrove and Zachary Kakar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
