He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bogart and Ruth Bogart; his wife Rosalie Bogart; his brother Edwin Bogart Jr.; and his grandson Timothy.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Jr. (Cindy), William (Nancy), Winfield Scott and Lynn (Jamie); his grandchildren, Carly, Ryan, Katelyn and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Kyra and Luca.
