She was predeceased by: her parents, Florian Nickel and Mary Wagner Nickel of Virginia; and her brothers, Jack Nickel, Paul Nickel and Darrell Nickel.
She is survived by: her husband Linwood James Imlay; her children, Timothy Imlay (Sharon) and Diana Imlay; her sister Carol Ann Imlay; her sister-in-law Mildred Weiser; her grandson Stefon (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Ayden, Rylie and Layla. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marlene's memory to Bethel Baptist Church, 6262 Hoover Road, Reva, VA 22735.
