With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Virginia McFarland of Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on May 25, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Lillie Blondell Leake; her husband Willie McFarland; and her children, Betty Grigsby, Thomas William McFarland, James Lewis McFarland and Eugene Snead McFarland.

She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Tharpe (William) and Joan Broyles (Carroll); and her sister Lillie Corbin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
