She is survived by: her husband Lacy Sanford; her children, Beverly (Barry Guynn), Martha Sanford and Bruce Sanford (Tammy); her siblings, Doris Gearing, Phyllis Wiley, Carol Harrah, Michael Crane and Danny Crane; her grandchildren, Shane Guynn (Heather), Erin Duncan (Shaun), Zach Halsey, Trent Halsey, Amanda Chapman (Ryan), Jessica Sanford and Joshua Sanford; and her great grandchildren, Leah Duncan, Charles, Xara Chapman, Cora Sanford and Avery Puffenbarger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont or Tunnels to Towers, an organization that supports homeless and catastrophically wounded veterans and first responders.
