She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus McCoy and Carrie Fleming McCoy; her husband Habern Hammons; and her son Dennis Hammons. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Vranken of Spotsylvania; and her grandchildren, Aimee Mann (Jason), Jennifer Joseph (Tom), James Hammons (Liz), Echo Dean and Dennis Hammons. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
