He is survived by: his wife Karen; his stepsons, Bryce Chapman (Stacy) and Richard (Rick); his grandchildren, Ava Hart, Alice Chapman, Rose Chapman, Meara Chapman, Quentin Chapman and Finn Chapman; his father Vincent E. Thompson, Sr.; and his siblings, Vincent E. Thompson, Jr. (Alana) of Damascus and Katherine Sharpe of Edwardsville, Illinois..
