It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Backe English of Culpeper, Virginia, born in Warrenton, Virginia, who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jo Backe leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Jo Backe may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Joseph Backe (Daisy Gertrude West Backe) and Boss Lady; her daughter Kristen Jo Johnson (C. J.); her granddaughter Lilly Madeline Johnson; her brothers, John Robert Backe (Cindy) of Culpeper, Virginia. and Eugene Joseph "Bo" Backe, Jr. (Donna) of Culpeper, Virginia.; her pets, Millie and Bella; her brother Kenneth Garrett Backe; and also Daisy Backe. She was also cherished by Three nieces, a nephew, numerous cousins.
