She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bryant and Ida Mae Cornell; her husband Jeremiah "Dickie" Peyton Atkins; her son Briant Atkins; her great grandchild Liam Richards; her siblings, Katherine Waters, Virginia Frazier, Lorene Dwyer, Grace Woodward, Frances Morris, Ruth Cornell, Helen Cornell, Rececca Cornell and Samuel Cornell; her siblings-in-law, Donald Atkins and Betty Atkins; and her husband Chandler St of Culpeper, VA.
She is survived by: her children, James Atkins (Susan) and Kim Atkins; her granddaughters, Ashley Artale (Jamie), Eliza Richards (Phillip) and Madelyn Atkins; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Payton Artale; her daughter-in-law Leitha Atkins; her sisters, Mary Jane Waters and Elna Beahm; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Hoffman (Jack) and Dottie Atkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Culpeper National Cemetery (501 E Chandler St, Culpeper, VA 22701).
