It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Bell Godfrey of Culpeper, Virginia, born in Exeter, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kershaw and Lillian Kershaw; and her brother Glen Kershaw. She is survived by: her son Peter Godfrey (Kathy) of Culpeper, VA; her grandchildren, Kelly Cappio (Matt) of Charlotte, NC, Christina Baviskar (Nikhil) of Philadelphia, PA, Matthew Godfrey (Molly) of Richmond, VA and Jenna Fairlo (Myles) of Fredericksburg, VA; her great grandchildren, Georgia, Hayes Cappio, Maya Baviskar, Anna Godfrey and Max Fairlo; and her sister-in-law Beverly Kershaw. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
