He is survived by: his mother Barbara Dunford; his wife Julia Dunford of Beaverdam; his brother Keith Dunford Sr. of Midlothian; and his children, James Dunford Jr. of Sterling, Kristin Daley (Adam) of Ashburn, Brittanie Simmons (Gary) of Manassas, William Wyatt of Ashburn, Lacey Marie-Dunford of Sterling and Ashley Dunford of Ashburn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
