He was predeceased by: his father James Henry Wells, Sr.; and his brother George Raymond Wells. He is survived by: his mother Charlotte Wells Drone; his children, Ashley N. Pearson and William McGuire; his siblings, Joseph Ray Wells, Margaret Jenkins (Roy Lee), Donna Wells and Nita Wells; and his grandchildren, Dawson Pearson, Mason Pearson, Nevaeh Pearson, Kayden McGuire, Savanah McGuire and Raven McGuire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
