James Allen Queen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Allen Queen (Culpeper, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, T. C. Queen and Miriam Margaret Queen; and his siblings, Vernon Queen, Bess Kirkland, Inez Jenkins, Felix Queen, Daniel Queen and Haynes Queen.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce B. Queen; his sons, Chris Queen (Mary Alice) and Tim Queen (Kate); and his grandchildren, Taylor Queen Dudley (Alex), Jordan Christopher Queen, Mackenzie Queen Burlin (John), Charles Walter Queen, Ethan James Queen and Eliza Grace Queen. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Clore English Funeral Home (11190 James Monroe Hwy, Culpeper, VA 22701). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701).
