With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwennyth Hendrix Hook of Culpeper, Virginia, born in Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, H. Lee Hendrix and Madge Ruth McLain Hendrix; her husband Harold E. Hook II; her children, Harold III (Eric), Melinda (Mindy), Culpeper, Hook, Assistant Principal, Amanda (David) of Boston and Mindy (Rick) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Margo, Eric, Owen Soucek, Matthew, Faith and Erica Beck; her brothers, Roger Hendrix (Clare) and John Hendrix; her son Eric; and her brother Tommy.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
