He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Norman and Lizzie Heflin Norman; and his siblings, Daniel Norman, David Norman and Rena Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his son Curtis Randall "Randy" Norman (Angie); his siblings, Flossie Wharton, Mary Wiley of Woodville, Virginia and John Norman (Nina) of Washington, Virginia; his grandchildren, Randi Lynne Norman (Gary Moore), Dylan Thomas Norman (Kristen Powell), Katrina Renee Norman (Dyllan Hitt) and Jonathan Michael Norman; and his great grandchildren, Sean Allen Moore, Brenlyn Marie Moore, Delaney Renee Hitt, Aydan Gregory Hitt and Harper Mae Norman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Blue Ridge Hospice.
